ROOM DID SERVICE
Calls for Guests can be automatically
routed directly to the room with the COMMDEC DID Server. The DID Server
assigns guests DID numbers at check in time and leaves a message
directly in the guest mailbox. This minimizes front desk workload and
adds a substantial high technology impact to the hotels image. More
importantly Guest DID numbers are rotated automatically, a security
feature that most hotels desire.
When used with the DID Server Management
Suite, DID numbers can be reserved in advance, permanently assigned to
certain guests, and based on arrival date they can be assigned to a
specific guests, meeting rooms, resale lines and extensions.
Support is also available for Time Share and other Owner type
operations.

In addition to DID Assignment
Messages, in-room direct messaging with the COMMDEC DID Server can be
utilized to inform guest of departure procedures, special activities,
and VIP Guests welcome messages. Messages can be professionally
recorded or inhouse staff members may change greetings and customize
messages from any adminsitrative telephone.
USING
THE DID SERVER AS A FAX SERVER
Some Hotels wish to provide
guests with a higher level of service than their
competitors. Our DID Server can also give your guests their
own fax number. DID numbers can be reserved in advanced, assigned to a
guest, meeting room, or resale lines. Fax DID's, just like
Guest DID's, are rotated automatically, a security feature
that most hotels desire.
